Volunteer with Seva Dharma Mission

Put compassion into action. We welcome people who want to support meditation and yoga programs, religious and spiritual gatherings, and community service—mainly in Brisbane and Melbourne.

  • Reliability, kindness, and respect for all participants and volunteers.
  • Willingness to follow program guidelines for spiritual gatherings and classes.
  • No need to be “advanced” in yoga—interest and consistency matter more.

Common questions

Do I need to be a member or attend for months first?

Not necessarily. Some people start after attending a few classes; others begin with service roles that match their skills. Tell us your situation.

Is there a minimum age?

It depends on the activity. Mention your age range in the form and we’ll advise what fits.

Can I volunteer only once in a while?

Yes. Some roles are event-based. Others benefit from a steady rhythm (for example weekly class support).

Is volunteering the same as donating?

Donations help fund programs; volunteering donates your time. Both matter. You can donate here if you wish.

Submit your volunteer interest
