Common questions
Do I need to be a member or attend for months first?
Not necessarily. Some people start after attending a few classes; others begin with service roles that match their skills. Tell us your situation.
Is there a minimum age?
It depends on the activity. Mention your age range in the form and we’ll advise what fits.
Can I volunteer only once in a while?
Yes. Some roles are event-based. Others benefit from a steady rhythm (for example weekly class support).
Is volunteering the same as donating?
Donations help fund programs; volunteering donates your time. Both matter. You can donate here if you wish.
Submit your volunteer interest
Please include your city (Brisbane, Melbourne, or both), how often you might help (weekly, monthly, or occasionally), and what draws you to volunteer.
We usually reply within 3–5 business days.
